Ceiling sensors
The ultra flat Tuya Wi-Fi motion sensor with a detection angle of 360° is an advanced and compact device alerting the users of the motion detected. It may also switch on the lighting system to optimise the use of artificial lighting and inform the owner of the presence of people in the building. The sensor uses passive infrared (PIR) technology, responding to movement in its field of view.
The sensor operates at a nominal voltage of 230V AC and a frequency of 50Hz. The maximum switching power is up to 2000W, including 1000W for LED lighting. The maximum switching time is 60min, with an economical energy consumption of only 0.5W.
It is intended for indoor use (IP20). Ceiling mounted. Connections with screw terminals ensure stable and secure installation.
The maximum range straight ahead is 8m. The device detects movement at a speed of 0.5-1.5 m/s. The light intensity adjustable from 5 to 2000 lux (5, 10, 50, 150, 2,000 lux) allows the device to adapt to different lighting conditions. The wide scanning angle of 360°/180° provides full coverage of monitored area.
The motion sensor may be integrated with the Tuya Smart system by connecting to a Wi-Fi network. This facilitates to easily create an alarm system and lighting control system in homes or offices, without the need for additional devices. The app simply needs to be installed on the smartphone and connected to the device. This makes it convenient to control the motion sensor from anywhere in the world.
Made of high-quality plastic in white. It is durable and aesthetically pleasing. Thanks to its ultra-slim design, just 2.5 cm thick, the sensor is unobtrusive. The dimensions are 22x115x105 mm.
The device covers a 3-year warranty.
