Ultrasonic motion and presence sensor, ceiling mounted, IP65, 1200W

The microwave sensor for suspended ceilings is an advanced device perfect for monitoring presence in rooms. The device works on the basis of ultrasonic technology, which ensures precise detection of movement and presence.

The presence sensor detects very slight movements, such as the movement of a hand, the turning of the head and even the breathing of a seating person. This allows to monitor whether someone is in the room, even if they do not move significantly. Being mounted on the ceiling, it offers a full 360° scanning angle, ensuring effective coverage of the entire monitored area.

The device is suitable for flush-mounting in suspended ceilings, with an optimum installation height of 2-4 m. The diameter of presence detection on floor is 6 m, and the diameter of motion detection reaches up to 9 m.

The sensor operates at 24 GHz and detects movement at speeds of 0.6 to 1.5 m/s. Additionally, the user may adjust the sensitivity and intensity of the light in a range within <3-2000 lux, which allows to precisely adapt the sensor's operation to the ambient conditions.

The device allows to connect classic light sources with a power of 1200W, and LED lights with a total power of 600W. The presence sensor is equipped with a relay output, which increases its functionality and flexibility in application.

Installation of the sensor is extremely easy thanks to the screw clamp, and the high-quality polycarbonate ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The high IP65 rate increases dust and water resistance, therefore the device may be used in more difficult conditions.

It operates at a nominal voltage of 230V AC and a frequency of 50Hz, and its switch-on time is adjustable within 10s-12min. The sensor is energy efficient, with an energy consumption of only 0.5W. It operates over a wide temperature range from -20°C to +50°C.

Thanks to the compact dimensions (⌀ 75 mm and the installation depth of 63 mm), the sensor is easy to install, and it aesthetically blends with the surroundings. The white housing makes it elegant and discreet in any room.
